MNAG CALENDAR
The Guild Board and planning committee have been busy organizing a schedule for the coming year.
Below are some of the events that are planned. Dates may be changed, so check the calendar regularly.
Remember there are always Outreach projects to be worked on, or you are welcome
to bring your own projects to complete.
Saturday workshops will start promptly at 10:00 am, please arrive and be setup so they can begin on time!
Wearable Arts/Knitting Group currently meets at Doodlebug, San Anselmo 2nd & 4th Thursdays 7pm all other meetings are at Aldersgate Church, San Rafael, (Terra Linda) unless posted differently.

| May 5th Quilt Lovers - Janet Manning from "Decades of Style" in Berkeley will be presenting a trunk show of fashions through seversal decades. She will have patterns for sale. |

May 17th - Outreach projects, potluck lunch
| June 2nd -- Quilt Lovers - I.B. Bayo (pronounced bio) will present a trunk show of his one-of-a-kind African textile designs. He was born in Nigeria and is a 9th generation of traditional weaving family. He is inspired by generations of skilled weavers. This should be a great evening. Check out his website to see some of his creations. Guests welcome. |

June 21st - Diana Taylor of Stickball will be presenting a workshop on her basic "ficklestick" jewelery. Her work was seen last Fall at Berkeley Artisan's Festival. She make jewelry and wire sculpture using textiles. Her website, "stickball" is currently under construction. Watch for more detail. Reservations to Barsha $25.00 member, $35.00 non-member. Take a look at
some of her work below; it should be a fun workshop!
June 24th - Doodlebug, San Anselmo Wearable Arts
Discuss the Challenge project using vintage textiles/buttons/trims etc. Show samples of these materials being used in various projects. Continue to work on individual projects
July 14 - Doodlebug, San Anselmo Knitting
Continue to work on a sampler, learning new stitches.
July 19th - Our "Traditional" Holiday in July
There will be a potluck lunch and multiple projects to work on this year. Should be a great event!
July 22nd -Doodlebug, San Anselmo
Tour of the Doodlebug collection of vintage materials and look for and discuss possible projects, continue to work on projects in progress.
August 4th - Hot August Nights & Stitch-in "Sew-cial" & Potluck
Join us for a potluck supper and "sew-cial" evening", bring your favorite project to work on.
Share ideas and skills with others. Bring completed projects to show/tell or projects in "progress". Let's make this end of summer evening fun for all. There will be a short general meeting where all are invited to participate, bring your ideas.
